Couristan Taps Codella to Head Sales

FORT LEE, N.J. - Manufacturer and importer of area rugs, residential broadloom and custom contract carpeting Couristan has promoted Steve Codella to evp of sales.
     Codella, who has been in the floor covering industry for more than 30 years, joined Couristan in 2000 as the company's Eastern regional sales manager. He soon advanced to svp of sales, the position he held most recently.
     Couristan credits Codella with helping to build a "versatile and highly skillful sales force" and said he has contributed to the growth of accounts on all levels.
     In his new post, Codella continues to oversee all residential sales and the strategic advancement of accounts across North America.
     "Steve has been an indispensable part of Couristan's executive management team for over twelve years, contributing to the growth and development of our residential sales division," said Ron Couri, president and ceo. "As executive vice president of sales, we are confident that he will continue to showcase his leadership to bring our division to new heights and help achieve our sales objectives."
